The Design of Cone and Pendulum Scanning Mode Using Dual-Camera with Multi-Dimensional Motion Imaging Micro-Nanosatellite

This paper focuses on the design of a new optical cone and pendulum scanning imaging mode for micro-nanosatellites. kind satellite uses high-resolution camera with small plane to achieve ultra-wide coverage through three-dimensional motion camera’s wobble, spin, orbital motion. First, this designs single-camera constant speed OCPSI (optical imaging) mode. On premise ensuring coverage, parameters are derived. Then, in order improve performance quality system, dual-camera variable is designed. In method, reduce overlap ratio, oscillated at speed. Turn cameras turn same time minimize overlap. details these working modes. The simulation experiment carried out using orbit 500 km, focal length 360 mm, pixel size 2.5 ?m, resolution [5120 × 5120], number frames hoop 10, initial inclination angle 30°. has an effective swath 1060 km ground sampling distance 5.3 m. width 966 under conditions.
